R N Chicken Ltd have been providing compassionate care for our clients after the loss of a loved one for over 30 years.

Based in Cockermouth, Cumbria, the business was first started by Isaac Hodgson in the early 1920's. After the death of Isaac in 1972 the business passed into the ownership of Nelson Chicken Snr. who had spent his working life in the employ of Mr Hodgson. In 1980 Nelson Snr. retired due to ill health and passed the business onto his son Nelson. In 2005 the firm became R N Chicken Limited.

We offer an understanding, caring funeral service. Available 24 hours a day, we can help with all aspects of funeral arrangements. We will do our best to make this difficult time as easy as possible.

We also have a Chapel of Rest available for you to visit your loved ones and spend a bit of time with them in peace.

All our funeral services are tailored to your requirements. We can arrange flowers for you and we have pre-paid funeral plans available.
