We say Thank You to the First World War generation

For the third consecutive year, Golden Charter is proud to support the Royal British Legion and Poppyscotland in their work, providing lifelong support for the Armed Forces community. Donations from our independent funeral directors selling Golden Charter funeral plans have already exceeded £195,000 and we are delighted to announce we are a proud partner of the Thank You movement in 2018.

Suzanne Grahame, Golden Charter CEO, said: “Together with our independent funeral director network, we have raised an amazing amount of money for the charities, since joining forces with The Royal British Legion and Poppyscotland two years ago. With many of our network being long-standing, family-run businesses, the funeral directors’ family histories will also contain memories as far back as the First World War. Therefore, we would like to come together to say Thank You to the generation who shaped the world we live in today.”

Marking 100 years since the end of the First World War, it’s time to think back to those who lived through this significant time and say Thank You all who served, sacrificed and changed our world.

Thank you for making a difference to the world we live in today
