They’ll be there to support your loved ones every step of the way and will let them know the day of your cremation. What's included in the Direct Cremation Plan?
Fully guaranteed to cover cremation costs
All arrangements taken care of by your funeral director, including the date, time and location of the cremation
All preparation and care prior to cremation
Collection and transportation to your funeral director's premises within 25 miles and during working hours
Removal of pacemakers (if applicable)
A simple coffin suitable for cremation
24-hour funeral director telephone support for loved ones
Ashes kept in the care of your funeral director prior to return, or they can be scattered in the garden of remembrance
Your funeral director will tell your loved ones when the cremation will take place so they can choose to commemorate that time in a way that suits them

As this is a direct, unattended cremation, there is no funeral service to attend

We’ll tell your loved one when the cremation is taking place

Our plans are flexible
When the time comes, if your loved ones wish to make any additional arrangements, your Golden Charter funeral director will be on hand to provide trusted guidance and expertise. Any additional arrangements will not be covered by the Direct Cremation Plan; these will be a separate agreement between your family and your funeral director.

Our Direct Cremation Plan is £1,950. You can pay in one single payment or spread the cost with our 12 monthly payment option or pay over two to 10 years with our instalment payment option.
