Golden Charter - Smart Planning for Later Life
Golden Charter - Smart Planning for Later Life
Golden Charter is owned by the people who understand your needs best - independent funeral directors. What’s more, we have a wider network of funeral director branches than Co-op2.

Over 30 years experience

Owned by an association of independent funeral directors, our company was founded in 1990 with the aim of safeguarding the future of local, often family-run businesses.

We've been in business for over 30 years – and many of the funeral directors we work with are also long-standing with a trusted place in their communities. It’s important to us that your family will receive a genuinely personal service when it matters most.

We have around 300 experienced members of staff working throughout the country, with our head office based in Glasgow. And, as one of the UK's leading Funeral Plan providers3, we work with almost 3,000 independent funeral directors all over the UK4 – in large cities such as London, Edinburgh, Cardiff and Belfast, as well as in smaller towns such as Blackpool, Ayr, Cookstown and Bangor.

Over 700,000 people have chosen to plan ahead with us1. Now you can get that peace of mind, too.
